In a bid to be crowned the number one platform for purchasing and playing PC games, Epic continues to give away video games completely free of charge. The latest selection of Epic Store free games include the critically-acclaimed Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, which is the third part of Lara Croft's reboot trilogy. The Definitive Edition is free to download and keep from now until 4pm BST on September 8.
On 18 June 2007, Eidos announced an Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary. It was released as downloadable content for the previous game in the serie, Tomb Raider Legend. The game is split up into four episodes on Xbox Live. The Croft Manor level is available as a free download for each set of episodes. It was the first time a full retail game was made available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The standalone disc version of the game was released on 26 October 2007.

Another dropped concept for the level was having the scenery mostly in black and white, and human enemies being different versions of Elvis Presley.[23] While released for the Mac in January 2000 and included in the mobile ports,[42][43][48] several re-releases of Tomb Raider II excluded The Golden Mask due to licencing issues.[51]

Amazon Luna is creeping up on Stadia when it comes to availability. The company has announced that the platform is now available for anyone interested who owns a Fire TV, departing from its initial invite-only approach to distributing the service. Luna still remains in its Early Access phase, though.New customers can download the Luna app on their Fire TV and sign up for a 7-day free trial without having to wait for approval. This broadens the service's availability and makes it much easier to get in on the action, especially if you already own a compatible Fire TV. Amazon has also announced that its controller can now be purchased without an invitation on Amazon.com/LunaController. But you can just connect your existing compatible Bluetooth controller to your Fire TV if you already have one.Amazon's approach to game streaming is a little different from Google's. Instead of an optional Pro tier with occasional free games and 4K streams, Amazon offers a flat fee that gives you access to a selection of games. There's a $5.99/month Luna Plus tier and a $14.99 Ubisoft+ channel that gives you access to many premium Ubisoft titles.
